Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Easy Tag Manager, including the website, desktop app, Google Tag Manager automation, support chat, billing features and related services.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Easy Tag Manager ("ETM", "we", "us" or "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you use ETM on behalf of a company, client or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and to authorize changes in its Google Tag Manager accounts.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ETM.

2. The service

ETM helps users scan websites, understand tracking evidence, prepare Google Tag Manager workspaces, create or update tags, triggers, variables and related assets, diagnose martech issues and manage subscription-based access to these features.

ETM is an operational tool. It does not replace your review of GTM changes, your internal quality assurance, your platform reporting checks or your legal compliance process.

3. Accounts and Google access

You need a Google account to use ETM. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for ensuring you have permission to access and modify the GTM containers you select.

ETM requests Google permissions needed to list GTM resources, inspect container configuration, create or update workspace assets, manage container versions and publish when you request publication. You can revoke ETM access through your Google Account permissions page.

4. Your GTM containers and tracking changes

ETM applies changes to Google Tag Manager based on user-selected flows, scans, configuration and user-approved actions. Although ETM is designed to work in controlled workspaces and reduce duplicate or unsafe changes, GTM operations are not risk-free.

You are responsible for:

  • selecting the correct GTM account and container;
  • reviewing workspace changes before publication when applicable;
  • confirming that tracking behavior matches your business and legal requirements;
  • maintaining access to backups, GTM version history and internal approval processes;
  • ensuring that you are authorized to make changes for clients or third parties.

5. Consent, cookies and legal compliance

ETM may help configure Google Consent Mode, reuse an existing consent setup or create a simple ETM cookie banner through GTM. The simple ETM banner is a technical helper and is not a complete consent management platform, legal policy generator or substitute for legal advice.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of ETM, cookies, tags, pixels, analytics and advertising technologies complies with applicable laws, platform policies and your own privacy notices.

6. Plans, billing and payment

Paid plans, add-ons, billing cycles and usage limits are shown on the ETM website or account page. Payments, subscription management and customer portal features are provided through Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method according to the selected plan and billing cycle.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Annual subscriptions are billed yearly and may display an annual discount. Promotional discounts, when available, apply only according to the conditions shown at checkout or on the website.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Canceling a subscription may keep access active until the end of the paid billing period, depending on the status returned by Stripe.

7. Usage limits and enforcement

ETM plans may include limits for implementations, scans, support messages, users or other usage categories. Usage limits may be enforced by the backend before expensive operations such as scans, support messages or GTM apply actions. We may adjust limits, add-ons or plan packaging over time, but changes will not intentionally reduce access already paid for during the current billing period unless required for security, abuse prevention or legal reasons.

8. Support chat and AI features

ETM may use AI to provide support, diagnostics and implementation recommendations. AI-generated output can be incomplete or incorrect. You should review suggestions and GTM changes before relying on them, especially for production, legal, advertising, revenue or reporting decisions.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use ETM to access GTM containers or data without authorization;
  • attempt to bypass billing limits, authentication, security controls or usage restrictions;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, copy or resell ETM except where permitted by law;
  • upload malicious code, credentials, secrets or illegal content;
  • use ETM to violate privacy laws, platform policies or third-party rights;
  • interfere with the availability, integrity or security of ETM or its infrastructure.

10. User content and permissions

You keep ownership of your GTM configuration, website data, support messages, uploaded images and other content you provide. You grant ETM a limited permission to process that content as needed to provide, secure, improve and support the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide any content, website, GTM account, platform ID, client data or instruction you submit to ETM.

11. Third-party services

ETM depends on third-party services such as Google, Google Tag Manager, Stripe, Amazon Web Services and AI providers. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and policies. ETM is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, API limitations or platform decisions.

12. Intellectual property

ETM, including its software, design, workflows, documentation, branding and underlying technology, is owned by ETM or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of ETM. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use ETM according to these Terms and your active plan.

13. Service changes and availability

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of ETM. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every website, GTM container, browser, consent banner, ecommerce platform or third-party script.

14. Disclaimers

ETM is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy of results.

ETM does not guarantee marketing performance, ad platform attribution, analytics accuracy, legal compliance, approval by advertising platforms, or that every tracking issue will be detected or fixed.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, inaccurate reports, ad spend loss or platform account issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ETM's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ETM for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay fees, abuse the service or use ETM in a way that may harm us, other users, third parties or infrastructure. You may stop using ETM at any time and may cancel your subscription through the account page or Stripe customer portal.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, except where mandatory consumer protection or local law provides otherwise. Courts located in Brazil will have jurisdiction where permitted by applicable law.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as ETM evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide notice through the website, app or email. Continued use of ETM after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
